Kati Miller

Kati began her real estate career in Charlotte, NC as a young graduate of North Carolina State University. Working for Pappas Properties, she learned the real estate development business from the ground up as the company built and marketed luxury condominiums in the upscale South Park neighborhood. That experience has been invaluable to her work on the Highlands – Cashiers Plateau helping home buyers and sellers negotiate what can be complex transactions.

Kati and her husband, Cory moved to the area over a decade ago facing a historically tough economic period. But the saw the potential in the market and simply fell in love with the natural beauty of Western North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountain. Today they are a family of four, Cory has built a successful home building business, and the real estate market in Cashiers and Highlands is thriving.

As Sales Director at Mountaintop Properties since 2015, Kati has driven sales and resales within the club. She and her team are focused on providing members with a seamless process for buying or selling their properties within the club. They are also dedicated to creating a superior experience for potential new members being introduced to Mountaintop’s unique lifestyle and value. Kati’s goal as she leads the Club’s official in-house real estate company, is to represent the best interests of the club membership and interface effectively with Club management to maintain exceptional standards for service.

Kati has earned the Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS) designation from the National Association of Realtors (NAR), and is a member of The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing.  She is also a Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist as designated by NAR.

Ali Moody

A native of Concord, NC, Ali Moody came to the Cashiers area as a student at Western Carolina University. By the time she graduated she was ready to make the Highlands – Cashiers Plateau her home. Before long, she decided to focus her marketing and management expertise in real estate.

Ali brings clear market analysis and savvy investment insight to both buyers and sellers. Her years in the market give her a unique perspective about home and property values anywhere in Cashiers, Glenville, Sapphire, or Highlands. Her appreciation for the unusual opportunities that Mountaintop Golf & Lake Club offer is essential to helping to establish valuations for both buyers and sellers. Her ability to turn raw data into a compelling story gives everyone in a transaction the level of confidence that leads to a smooth closing.

Kati and Ali have worked together as team for several years and pride themselves on providing a higher level of service than would be possible working independently. Between them, they are available virtually year ‘round to help Club members with a broad range of real estate services. Both say that each year they see in increase in activity across all months and less seasonality. Preparation for the heaviest periods of traffic begins earlier each year as the market continues to expand with buyers scheduling their vacations well in advance to coincide with searching for homes or land.

Staying abreast of the luxury market and vacation home market is central to the Mountaintop Properties in-house real estate sale team.
